Pentecostalism has taught us that we pray where many people are or with loud voices with our mouths opened HENCE WE HAVE FORGOTTEN PERSONAL PRAYER; and RELIGION HAS ALSO TAUGHT US TO REPEAT PRAYERS rather than going individually before God.
When we read what Jesus said;
Matthew 6: 5-7
5. And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
- But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
- But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
I have been looking at the Bible to see or hear where Jesus was praying loud mouthed or repeating or recanting prayer in a synagogue BUT I realized that He practiced what He preached by praying privately Mat 26:36; Mar 6:46; Luk 6:12, whenever He prayed in the public was for a course and short Jon 11:41-42 .
This COVID-19 is going to do something to the church like
- Is making people to trust in God rather than trusting in their pastors/bishops/apostles/ prophets/reverends, spiritual authorities/fathers/mothers / priests/ papa/baba/ dad things
- Will also make those so called spiritual leaders who manipulate their congregants whom Paul call Busy Bodies be displayed and known because and the genuine will have also be seen by their fruits. 2 Thes 3:11, 1 Tim 5:13
- May make Christians to start personal Private quiet time with God in the closet NOT public prayers which MOST use for shows to be seen and noisemaking to be heard by men.
- Might bring people back to family altars, where most have been going to built alters outside while they have neglected family altars, people who haven’t known that God invented family before the church and will make most people to learn that family is the backbone of every society and the foundation of every strong church and that is why Jesus gave out that the minimum or the quorum of every gathering to bring God and to bind and loose things is two or three. Husband and Wife or Husband, Wife and Child that is NUCLEUR FAMILY, a CHURCH a BASIC POWERFUL ALTAR.
- Utilize social media and online platform, where MOST people use in church for DISTRUCTION from the service, MOST PEOPLE USE bible on phones like I mostly use but MOST instead of reading the bible they get destructed by WHATSAPP, FACEBOOK, INSTARGRAM or TEXT notice.
- Christians will now understand that God does not need praise and worship to prepare the way for Him to come, God now will not need a big band, good instruments to be heard, very nice vocals to reach to Him neither does God need a large gathering to visit the church.
Prophetically COVID -19 telling us something
- These are signs of Jesus coming or the end of the world Luke 21:11, Math 24:7 ……………………… and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
- Every where they are talking about CASHLESS TRANSACTIONS, where cash is not not needed to exchange hands if possible, This will help the beast in Revelation 13:11-18 CONTROL THE MARKET because it will be a system that is monitored which Americans call BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING.
- We are moving to a global village where the earth becomes too small and in Facebook we have watch patties, which is live recording and coverage and it goes global and viral as COVID a VIRUS and this will help whole world to see in one thing as mentioned in Revelation 11: 1-13, about the two witnesses, as it is mentioned in 19 that the whole world will see their dead bodies in 3 and half days.
The world is moving towards isolation which will bring us to the next chapter of Economic melt down and which leads to famine in the land as mentioned.
